If you call up and use the internet sites of drivendo, various information about your PC or other devices, such as smartphones, (hereinafter called your "system") will submitted to us. Most of the information provided during the use is not personal. In the following privacy statement we explain what information and personal data we read and how we use it.


The most important thing will be explained now:A sensitive and responsible handling of your personal data is a fundamental part of a reputable and customer-oriented business activity for us. Even during the data collection the principle of data economy has a big importance. We collect and process your personal data only if you have given us your consent or the legislature allows or prescribes us explicitly. We guarantee that no personal data is passed on to third parties without authorization.


What is personal data?

Personal data is any information about personal and factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person (§ 3 paragraph 1 BDSG) or a user. Examples for personal data are details such as your name, your address or your phone number.


How do we collect and process your personal data?

When you visit our websites without being logged in, we only collect the required information for the correct representation. Furthermore, we collect some data to improve the safety and efficiency of drivendo. To reach these two mentioned purposes we collect, amongst other things, your assigned IP address for your computer, the name and the URL of the requested file, date and time of the request. These data we cannot assign a person. We will keep these data only as long as it is necessary for technical reasons or for a special reason, e.g. as evidence in case of improper or illegal use or required by law.


The essential part of our offers is only available for you if you register on drivendo. Then you can e.g. add transfer requests, see details of offers, rate transfer trips or participate in other diverse functions. We ask for data, which are important or recommendable for the usage of the page (e.g. Adding transfer requests or the relationship between the parties). This concerns in particular the salutation, the first name, the surname, the phone number and e-mail address. We will inform you in context with the collection of the data if an information is a mandatory input. Finally, informations concerning the type and content of a transfer request will be saved.


drivendo collects the personal data for contract initiation, execution and settlement of its own service concerning the partners (hereinafter also called "customer"). drivendo transmits the personal data also to the respective customer, if this is necessary for the conclusion and implementation of the contract.


How do we deal with Cookies? What can you set in relation to cookies?

A cookie is a small text file, which will be sent from a website or a webservier to your browser to identify your system - not you in personal. When using drivendo cookies are used for the following purposes:


drivendo uses session cookies to recognize registered users when they move on the site. These cookies are only saving informations by which we can determine whether and whith what username you are logged in in our system to avoid the multiple login with your login account. In addition, certain data (e.g. login information or personal preferences) are stored on your request in a permanent cookie to recognize your system even after a temporary closure of the browser and to provide you with certain features of drivendo without renew your login (Delivery of offers and other functions require a new login).


You have the ability to configure your browser so that it can inform you if you receive a cookie, so you may refuse the receipt of cookies. You can also disable the reception of cookies completely through your browser. However, this may have the effect that some features of drivendo no longer or only work partially.


When you log off at drivendo the session and permanent cookies will be automatically deleted by your browser, if your settings allow it. If you close the browser without logout the session cookies will only be deleted, the permanent cookie, which you have to allow before, remains on the other hand received.


Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case IP-anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transfered to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP-anonymisation is active on this website. The IP-address, that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Social Plugins

We are using social plugins („Plugins“) of the social networks Facebook, Google+ und Twitter („Netzwerke“). The operators of these services are Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA („Facebook“) respectively Google. On individual websites, the plugins will be shown in the form of buttons (the "Buttons") with the respective logo of the network.


While visiting a website, which has add these buttons, the browser of the user opens a connection to the server of the network operator which loads the content of the plugin directly from its servers and integrates it on the website. This integration allows the network operators to get some informations about the request: If you are logged while you are using the plugin at the respective network, which provides the button, the operator can assign your visit on the website to your registered account. If you have an interaction with the button, the respective network will directly be informed. Facebook has announced that only in the case of an active usage of its provided plugins the customer's IP address is stored by Facebook and transmitted to its server. In addition, in this case there is a permanent link between the customer's IP address and its user identifier, called UID, on Facebook. If you, if you are a member of the respective network, do not want this data be processed through this network, you must log off before visiting these sites in this network. Facebook has informed that in this case, or in the case of non-registration does not store the IP address.


With regad to the propose and scope of data processing you can check on the respective sides of the networks (www.facebook.com/policy.php or www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html) and make at existence of a user account in one of the networks possibly settings to protect privacy. Does drivendo transmits personal data to third parties?

drivendo nutzt Ihre personenbezogenen Daten grundsätzlich nur selbst. Nur in bestimmten Fällen erfolgt eine Übermittlung an Dritte. Soweit Dritte Ihre Daten erhalten, erfolgt dies zu folgenden Zwecken:

Members of drivendo may use your personal data solely for the execution of a transfer trip, thus the execution of an order or - especially in the case of use of contact functions - especially in any other expressly permitted contact.
